40 Developmental AssetsFR Did you know that the more assets a youth has, the more successful he will be in the future? The 40 Developmental Assets framework identifies the building blocks of healthy youth development that help them grow to be productive, caring and responsible. With the framework in place, every child will have the means to form the relationships and receive the guidance he or she needs to become a successful adult.
We are excited to announce a new initiative funded by Sheboygan and Plymouth United Way called the Healthy Communities/Healthy Youth Initiative. FRC staff member Erik Wagner wil work with communities to build an understanding of the internal and external assets or skills youth need to be supported in Sheboygan County.
